There are lots of great Dating Sites. E-Harmony which sounds like a musical store, J Date, which sounds like a ame of Scrabble, and numerous others. Hopefully SchicksaChick.com will one day have its own dating application so that we can graduate from E’s and the J’s to the S’s. Most sites are just too detailed for my liking. They want to know the name of your first pet. Sounds more like an on-line Banking Account rather than a Dating site. Should one exchange banking passwords to see if there is some mystical connection? For Jewish Men looking for Non-Jewish Women there are a limited number of requirements mostly in this order: Non-Jewish, Female, Cute, Fun to be with, the rest can be determined on the first date. Pictures are helpful. For Non-Jewish Women, requirements are pretty basic also, Jewish, male, educated, affluent, no STD’s and no addictions. For both, they should be either smokers or non-smokers but one should not mix with the other. Same goes for alcohol, and vegetarians. It can be pretty tedious to drink alone or enjoy a good steak whilst your partner eyes you like a mass murderer and chomps on crudite. The current options for inter-faith dating is for Non-Jewish women to sign up for J Date assured that they will find a Nice Jewish Boy or to sign up for any other dating site and request a Jew. Most Jewish Guys will log onto J date but those who definitely want a SchicksaChick will look elsewhere. One has to wonder how effective and desirable Dating Sites are. They have certainly come a long way. Dinner parties and Clubs just aren’t what they used to be. This web-site is dedicated to jewish everywhere, of whatever age, race or religion (other than Jewish, of course). Move Over Sports Illustrated: There’s a New Calendar Model in Town
Venice, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2008 Hunks and hotties, move over — and make room for the nice guys of the world.
A new calendar – “Nice Jewish Guys 2009″ — is being unveiled by Los Angeles television producer Adam Cohen, who hopes to turn the spotlight on the underrated characteristic that those with slim figures and tight buns alone may not possess: niceness.
“Being nice is so underrated but oh-so-needed this day and age,” Cohen said. “Nice Jewish Guys (http://www.nicejewishguys.net) is a calendar that puts nice guys front and center. They may not have the bronzed skin or the ‘Blue Steele’ grimace, but they have something that many Americans may overlook: that certain ‘take ‘em home to mom’ quality. These guys have a lot to offer, and now they are getting their 15 minutes of fame.”
Cohen worked with Paris Hilton as he produced the first season of ‘The Simple Life’ on FOX – which is where the idea for the calendar was hatched.
“It was during this time that I saw the ‘non-hot’ guy get shut down by Paris, and only the really ‘hot hunk’ in town win her affection,” he said “I used to dread being called ‘nice’ and ‘trustworthy.’ Then I came up with the idea for this calendar (http://www.nicejewishguys.net) as my revenge and education all in one.”
It’s an idea he sat on for seven years.
“It’s one of those ‘I should do this’ ideas we all have, but never do,” Cohen said. Then the motivation kicked in as he watched his fellow buddy, still single, never get a date. “He’s a nice guy but girls don’t seem to want that,” Adam explains.
Thus was born the Nice Jewish Guys 2009 calendar.
“Take that Paris,” Cohen offers.
